Windward Tree Co. is a tree-only company serving all six towns on Martha's Vineyard plus Chappaquiddick. Every job is run by an ISA Certified Arborist and fully insured. We do pruning and care, disease treatment, vista pruning and hazardous removal — and nothing outside that list.
Windward Tree Co. works on trees and nothing else. No mowing, no beds, no hardscape, no “and this too while we are here”. Every job is run by an ISA Certified Arborist, and every crew that turns up is carrying general liability and workers’ compensation cover we will show you before we start.
The name is the job. Windward is the side facing the weather — the side that takes the nor’easter first. On an island where the demand for tree work is driven by storms, that is where the company stands: between the house and the wind.
We are the sister company to an established Vineyard property firm. They handle everything green that is not a tree; we handle the trees. Two companies, two focuses, no overlap.
